Overview
This is Georgia away from the bus routes. A genuine 4x4 carries a small group of up to six travellers past Ananuri, Gudauri and the Friendship Monument before turning off the highway into the Truso Valley - a remote gorge of mineral springs, ruined villages and lakes that larger vehicles simply cannot reach. Running seasonally from June to October, this is our most adventurous mountain day trip.
