Kazbegi & Gudauri 4WD Mountain Day Trip
Head into the Greater Caucasus on a full-day mountain escape from Tbilisi. Your driver-guide takes you along the dramatic Georgian Military Highway to the ski town of Gudauri, then swaps to a 4x4 for the climb up to Gergeti Trinity Church beneath Mount Kazbek. Along the way you will stop at Ananuri Fortress, the turquoise Zhinvali Reservoir and the colourful Friendship Monument mosaic.
Private 4x4 Adventure: Kazbegi, Truso Valley & Gudauri
This is Georgia away from the bus routes. A genuine 4x4 carries a small group of up to six travellers past Ananuri, Gudauri and the Friendship Monument before turning off the highway into the Truso Valley - a remote gorge of mineral springs, ruined villages and lakes that larger vehicles simply cannot reach. Running seasonally from June to October, this is our most adventurous mountain day trip.

Travelling in a shared group vehicle, you will stop at Ananuri Fortress, admire the Zhinvali Reservoir, pass through the ski town of Gudauri and take a shared 4x4 up to Gergeti Trinity Church, finishing with photos at the Friendship Monument.
